Card Transaction Rejections

Welcome to the EFS Knowledge Base. Below are some common error messages and their definitions to help you troubleshoot card transaction issues.

Error: Check status on card, contract or carrier

Definition: Either the card, contract or account is inactive, causing the transaction to be declined. Please verify the status of each.

Error: Error Code: 3 - INACTIVE CARD | Inactive Contract

Definition: The contract status is inactive, which will cause this error during transactions. Please activate the contract before proceeding.

Error: CheckCvc1McFleet failed - Invalid CVC

Definition: The incorrect CVC code (3-digit code on the back of the card) was entered. Please verify and retry.
